Alesis MultiMix 8USB Mixer

I’m having problems with crappy audio connections in my little music studio at home. I’m sure that it’s related to the dj mixer that I’m using. I found a good solution, but can’t afford it. So, I’ll put it here as my birthday wish.

It’s called the “Alesis MultiMix 8USB Mixer with USB and DSP”. Musician’s Friend would be a good place to order it. It runs about $150, but that’s a great deal for what it does.

Puzzle Pirates

Puzzle Pirates

Somehow, Dana, Justin and I have become the little-known spokesmodels for Puzzle Pirates.  If you do a search on Google for Puzzle Pirates, our picture is on the first pages.  How cool is that?

These are some pages that I’ve seen us appear so far:

And there’s a running discussion on it here:

Mom

I did some more work on cleaning her marker up.  It looks like new now.  This is what her marker looked like a couple of years ago.  We brought her baby’s breath this year.  She loved baby’s breath.

Embryo Transfer

Last weekend Jane and I transferred the embryos for our first round of trying to get pregnant.  We’re going through a fertility clinic in Thousand Oaks.  We have a really great doctor there.

It’s been a very harrowing process.  Surgeries and medicines and scans and probes.  It’s been very difficult for Jane and I.

Here is a picture of the embryos.  Two of them got an A- rating, which is still a A in my book.  They are the two at the bottom right and left.  Who would think that our child would be getting grades before they even entered the womb?  Talk about pressure.

Embryos

Don’t get excited yet!  This is a three step process.  We’re going to try this once a month for three months, and each time there is a 40% chance of getting pregnant.  That’s actually pretty good.  And she may be pregnant right now, but then again she may not.

This is a picture of  her uterus with the embryos implanted.  The white dot in the center is where the embryos are.  Isn’t that cool?
